Mongolian Beef and Broccoli

Tonight I made a recipe for "Mongolian Beef and Broccoli" from the book Family Feasts for $75 a Week by Mary Ostyn. It was pretty awful, which is why I didn't bother to post the recipe. This is the second recipe I've tried from the cookbook that didn't come out well. Luckily I did not purchase this cookbook- just checked it out from the library.
