Caramel Frosting

So the other day I found a couple of boxes of Duncan Hine's Caramel Cake Mix on clearance, so I bought them. I made a cake today, and used Tiffany's recipe for Caramel Icing and WOW it was awesome. I am totally addicted. It is yet another one of the awesome recipes you will find in the cookbook.

CARAMEL ICING

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. confectioner's sugar

Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar. Boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, but keep stirring and add in milk. Put back on stove and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat after bringing to a boil. Keep stirring and add in confectioner's sugar. Mix until spreadable, adding more milk if needed.

yeah!! I made the blog! Glad you liked the icing! It's my favorite caramel icing and my husband loves it too! It's his favorite and requests it for every birthday
