Caleb Cookies

So our friend Caleb makes amazing chocolate chip cookies and here are his secrets. Turns out he just uses the recipe that's on the back of the bag of morsels. The only thing he does differently is he uses butter flavor shortening instead of butter, and he mixes everything by hand. Well a few days ago I decided to make some cookies. I didn't mix it all by hand, but I used my mixer to mix everything, and used the butter flavor shortening. I also used 1 cup white chocolate morsels and 1 cup milk chocolate morsels. I left out the nuts, because I don't like them, and I think Caleb leaves them out too. Then use the medium sized Pampered Chef scoop to drop perfectly proportioned cookie dough on to the baking sheet. The cookies turned out amazing. Another thing Caleb taught me is to bake the cookies less than you think they need. Take them out when they have just the very slightest hint of brown and let them sit on the hot cookie sheet for a minute or two. Then transfer to a rack. Wow these cookies were amazing. I can finally make decent homemade cookies!!!!!!

(Caleb did I get it all right?)
