Creamy Italian Dressing
Tonight I tried a recipe for "Creamy Italian Dressing" from the April/May 2009 issue of Cook's Country magazine. You have to be a member of their website to access the recipe, but it doesn't matter because the recipe didn't turn out that great and isn't one I recommend. It consisted of red wine vinegar, grated parmesan, shallots, garlic, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, mayo, sour cream, fresh basil, olive oil and salt & pepper. I thought the vinegar flavor was too strong and just overall didn't care for the flavor or texture. I'd prefer a homemade ranch or blue cheese dressing to this.
