Rocco DiSpirito's Mama's Spaghetti & Meatballs

Tonight I made Rocco DiSpirito's Mama's Spaghetti & Meatballs. This is the sauce recipe and this is the meatball recipe. Everyone seemed to like the meatballs, but I didn't really like their flavor. The sauce was bland and blah- had no depth. I definitely won't be making this again. Way too blah.
