Fix-It & Forget It Cookbook
I have had a copy of Fix-It & Forget It Cookbook for a long time. Well when I had some stew meat to use up, I finally sat down and really looked at the recipes. I can pretty sum up this entire cookbook by saying take some meat, add a can of cream of mushroom soup and a packet of onion soup mix and put it in the crockpot. That is basically the entire cookbook. Everything ends up tasting like dog food. Read the negative reviews of the book on amazon- they are spot-on. We all know I am not an insanely healthy eater, but the amount of processed foods in this cookbook is insane. Every recipe has cream of something soup, or onion soup mix. AWFUL. Just awful. This book is going in my garage sale, and if it doesn't sell for 25 cents, it'll be on it's way to Goodwill. What a disappointment!
