Panini
I love to use my George Foreman G5 grill as a panini press. It works so well! Who needs yet another small kitchen appliance when you can multitask one you've already got? These are paninis (panini?) I made yesterday. I used sub rolls actually, and they flattened down quite nicely. I put a little mayo & oil on the inside and I very lightly brushed the outside of the sub rolls with melted butter. I also experimented and tried putting fresh minced garlic in the melted butter and then brushed that on the inside and outside of the rolls- it was AMAZING! I need to start making these more often. You could also lightly spray the outside with olive oil instead of butter. I have also used my cast iron grill pan & bacon press to make paninis, but I do think it is more convenient to do it on the George Foreman.
