World's Best Lasagna

World's Best Lasagna from Allrecipes Magazine

Tried this recipe I found in Allrecipes Magazine. I followed the recipe except that I only used one can of tomato paste, and I omitted the salt, based on other reviewers' recommendations. I also used cottage cheese instead of ricotta because I really don't like ricotta. Over all this was great. I think it would be fine to just use shredded mozzarella instead of deli sliced mozzarella. I would also like to sneak some veggies in this, maybe even eggplant. I parboiled the noodles and they came out okay but next time I think I would try not precooking the noodles at all, and I would just add a little water to the sauce. I think the noodles would have had a better texture that way. I assembled this the night before and was so glad I did because I do think it tasted better.
