Turkey Breast Brine

So I recently tried brining a boneless turkey breast, with pretty positive results. Here is what I did:

2 cups water
2T maple syrup
1/4 c brown sugar
1/6 c kosher salt
garlic powder
bay leaf
peppercorns (a few)
thyme
rosemary

Boil 2 cups water and dissolve sugars and salt. Stir in spices. Add 2 cups ice water to cool down mixture. Place in bag with turkey breast, brine for at least 6 hours but probably not more than 12.

Rinse before cooking.
