The seasoning in this recipe was great, but I did not have good results with the frying method, which I followed exactly. I fried on my induction burner which offers precise temperature control. The breading was too tough, and didn't adhere well enough to the chicken. I would use the same seasonings in different fried chicken recipes, but won't make this exact one again.
Coating:
3 cups flour
3 T white pepper
1 T pepper
1 T celery salt (I did not have this)
1 T granulated garlic
1 T ginger
1 T italian seasoning
1 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
6 T buttermilk
