Cincinnati Chili

Last night I made Cincinnati Chili which was from my Best Lost Suppers cookbook. It also apparently was made on the Cook's Country tv show, so you can view the recipe on the website too. You have to be registered to view the recipe but it is free to register.

Anyway, I thought this came out great! I served it over spaghetti and put shredded cheddar on top. I left out the beans and onions because I wasn't in the mood for them on top of the spaghetti. I added some red pepper flakes to give this some heat. It was really really good. Today I ate the leftovers on fries for chili fries. I also want to try this on a hot dog.

I think you could easily substitute ground turkey for the ground beef, without changing the flavor much.

So far I am loving my Best Lost Suppers cookbook. I can't wait to try more recipes out of it!
