Shrimp Bisque

This recipe for Shrimp Bisque was amazing. Totally amazing. I made a few tweaks to the ingredients: I only used 4 bottles of clam juice because I hadn't bought enough. I then filled up the bottles with water and added the water in place of the 2 bottles of clam juice I didn't have. I could not easily find shrimp that hadn't been peeled, so I used shrimp that had the tails still on, and removed the tails and used them in place of the shells called for in step one. I used dried thyme, not fresh. And I added a splash of sherry just before serving. Despite all of these tweaks, the recipe was incredible, just incredible. I will definitely be making this again. I am also quite sure you could substitute lobster to make a Lobster Bisque. Next time I will add a little more garlic than called for, because I add more garlic to everything. I also will make sure to have oyster crackers on hand!
