Braised Beef Brisket w/ Tomatoes & Sweet Onions

I tried this recipe for "Braised Beef Brisket w/ Tomatoes & Sweet Onions" that I found in Cooking with Paula Deen magazine. It was really terrible. Not great flavor, and I really didn't like the way the meat came out. We didn't even eat any of the leftovers. Big disappointment and waste of food! Once in awhile Paula has a great recipe but she has a lot of duds too.
