Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes with Ganache Filling

Yesterday I decided to try this recipe for Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes with Ganache Filling which I got out of my America's Test Kitchen Complete Cookbook. It is also in my Cook's Illustrated Cookbook. The cupcakes were okay, nothing great, but the frosting was truly awful, just awful! Absolutely disgusting. What a disappointment. And the cupcakes were A TON of work too!
