Sunny Lemon Bars

I recently borrowed the "Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook" from the library. I decided to try their recipe for Sunny Lemon Bars. I really did not like them. They reminded me of eating lemon Pledge. Something about them burned my throat. Though the crust by itself tasted good, overall this dessert was not good. I won't make it again and am searching for a good lemon bar recipe.
