Mayme's Sugar Cookies
I copied this recipe for Mayme's Sugar Cookies from a cookbook probably 10 years ago, and just got around to trying it. I don't know how this could be made into a rolled out cut out cookie. The dough was way too soft and hard to work with. I ended up putting into my cookie press and that worked okay. These tasted okay and I'd have to agree with this website that says they taste like a cross between a sugar cookie and a shortbread cookie. They weren't too bad with frosting but I don't think I will make these again.
