Baked Bubbly Scallops

Recently made this recipe out of my grandmother's favorite Betty Crocker cookbook. I did not really measure everything.

Using thawed sea scallops, pull muscle off each scallop. (I used 24 oz sea scallops.) Grease a baking dish with butter. Place scallops in baking dish, season with salt and pepper. Pour some half n half over scallops. Melt 1 stick butter and mix in 1 cup plain breadcrumbs and some paprika. (Next time I might use slightly less butter and breadcrumbs.) Spread over scallops and bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes until casserole is bubbling. Serve with lemon.
