Homemade Pimento Cheese

I spent some time researching pimento cheese. I've never made it from scratch before, but wanted to try it after seeing videos on youtube. Also grocery store pimento cheese is always super dry and gross. I didn't follow a specific recipe but after looking at a ton of recipes, I basically made my own. I didn't measure much. There seems to be controversy over if pimento cheese should have cream cheese in it. Some recipes were only mayo and cheddar. I decided to make mine with cream cheese.

1 block cream cheese, softened
8 oz block sharp cheddar, shredded as fine as you can do
3/4 c mayo
small jar pimentos
Worcestershire, splash
Frank's Red Hot, a few splashes
garlic powder
onion powder
smoked paprika (tiny bit)
regular paprika

Mix really well with a hand blender. I was tempted to even process it in a food processor though that is not traditional. I wish I had done a little black pepper but that wasn't in the recipes I originally saw. I can't wait to try this after it has chilled overnight in the fridge!
