Arleen's Apple Crisp

Arleen's Apple Crisp

Arrange in pan- 4 cups sliced tart apples (or substitute one can apple pie filling).

Mix together:

3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c oats
3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp apple pie spice
1/3 c margarine, softened

Sprinkle some spices & sugar over apples if desired, then top with above mixture.

Bake at 375° until topping is golden brown and apples are tender, about 30 mins. Serve warm with ice cream.
